We politely request that you refrain from visiting WOW if you or your child are feeling unwell.
We advise the same safety measures as schools in regards to sickness and recovery so please take this into consideration when booking.
Purchasing a ticket is acceptance of our rules of play and terms and conditions below.
- Children must be accompanied by an Adult(18+)
- Parental supervision must be given at all times
- All sessions are for 2 hours, no overstay is permitted.
- You can arrive within 5 minutes of the start of your booked time slot.
- Please have your e-ticket or your reference number ready on arrival.
- Once purchased, tickets cannot be changed, transferred or refunded (unless the venue is closed).
- We reserve the right to ask visitors to leave before the end of their play session if they are not following our rules of play or are displaying symptoms of illness.
- Whilst we are implementing considerable safety, hygiene and social distancing measures, we cannot guarantee that adults or children will not come into contact with adults or children from other households, nor do we accept liability for any illness, or symptoms of illness, which may result during or after a visit.
Team WOW are working very hard to maintain the safety and cleanliness of our premises so that you can enjoy a fun, safe visit. Please bare with us if there is a slight delay to any aspects of our operation due to cleaning taking place.

Clothing
- Socks must be worn at all times. Socks are available to purchase for £1 per pair
- It is recommended that children wear long sleeves and full length trousers, as the slides can cause friction burns.
- Please refrain from wearing polyester and nylon materials (fancy dress outfits / tracksuits / football shirts) as they can be prone to burns and scorch marks
Car Parking
- Please make sure to park in the long stay car park. This car park allows you to park all day, for free.
- Please avoid parking near ASDA as this car park is limited to two hours.
Refund Policy:
- Once purchased tickets are not able to be refunded (unless the venue is closed).
- If you cannot attend a booked play session due to sickness please contact our team as soon as possible on 01237 439400.
- If we have enough notice to resell your tickets a transfer or refund may be offered. This is down the discretion of the venue.
Sickness Policy:
We politely request that you refrain from visiting WOW if you or your child are feeling unwell. We advise the same safety measures as schools in regards to sickness and recovery so please take this into consideration when booking.
It is advised that you do not visit WOW if your child is suffering from the following contagious conditions:
- High temperature
- Chickenpox
- Cold sores
- Conjunctivitis
- Coronavirus (COVID-19)
- Hand, foot and mouth disease
- Impetigo
- Ringworm
- Scarlet fever
Vomiting and diarrhoea
Children with diarrhoea or vomiting should stay away until they have not been sick or had diarrhoea for at least 2 days (48 hours).
WOW Party Terms and Conditions:
- Bookings must be made via our website
- Once a £75 deposit is paid, your party booking will be confirmed with a confirmation email
- A WOW Team member will be in touch with you the week before your party to ask for confirmed guest numbers, names and allergies.
- Confirmed numbers will be catered for. In the event that numbers change drastically, you must inform World of Wonder at your earliest convenience.
- Full payment of your outstanding party balance will be due on the day of your party
- If final numbers change, please advise at least 24hours before your party to ensure we can cater appropriately.
- Please advise your guests – all adults enter ‘free of charge’ however any siblings (aged 1-11 years old) not on the guest list will be asked to pay our usual admission prices
- Additional party invitations can be collected from World of Wonder’s reception
Party Refund Policy:
- A £75 deposit is required to secure a party booking at World of Wonder. This amount will be deducted from your final balance on the day of your party. Your deposit amount may be refunded if a party is cancelled 30 days prior to your party date.
- Deposits are non-refundable once your party date is within 30 days.
- A minimum of 8 children must be paid for a WOW Party to go ahead.
- Prices for our private hire parties are not worked out per head and are offered as a package.
- World of wonder do not offer refunds for any children who do not attend the party.
Your party day has arrived!
- Party parent/s to arrive 5-10 minutes before the party is due to commence so we can confirm the guest list with you in preparation for welcoming your guests
- Please encourage your guests to arrive on time – we can then direct them to the allocated seating for your party
- Your party will last for 2 hours in total
- Party parent/s and guests will be taken to their VIP seating area to sit back and relax until the party is due to eat (please use only this area, particularly during busy periods)
- Playtime for the party will last for 90 minutes
- Your party host will make a tannoy announcement to ask the children to gather in the WOW Party Room.
- The cake ceremony will take place and then the food will be served for the final 30 minutes
- During the final 30 minutes of your party, you will have sole use of the party area.
What to bring on the day of the party
- Your birthday cake and candles (DO NOT bring knives into the facility please)
- Your party bags unless purchasing sweet cones from us
Food Allergies
- If any of your guests have food allergies or dietary preferences, please let us know in advance and we will do our very best to accommodate your wishes
General rules
- Children should always be supervised by their parents or a responsible adult.
- It is advised to have one parent for every 5 children and for the younger guests – one parent for every 3 children
- World of Wonder’s ‘RULES OF PLAY’ apply at all times. These can be found on entry into the building or on our website HERE
- World of Wonder will be open to the general public unless you have chosen the ‘Private Hire’ party. Please ask Reception for more details
- Children are not permitted to re-enter the play frame after the buffet food unless stated otherwise.
- Please consider the privacy of other guests in the venue when taking photographs or filming your children
